Spyder

The proven integrated design of the Spyder® provides perfectly balanced hydraulic evacuation of sedimentation basins. Different from other products in the industry, Spyder® combines a fixed grid with customized and automated operator control. Integrated web design allows the Spyder® to hug contoured floors and work around basin obstructions like columns or pipes utilizing the available head in the basin to force the sludge out through the unit.

Spyder® offers automatic sequencing with full operator control, passively evacuating the settled sludge without disrupting the sludge bed. Multiple passes are not required because the Spyder evacuates the entire basin zone uniformly in a single cycle.

Collection freq uency can be varied section by section. Each zone’s rate of sludge collection is independently controlled with duration timers.

Each Spyder® module consists of a central collection valve with a grid system for even sludge collection. With no moving collection components and construction of non-corrosive materials throughout, the Spyder® is practically maintenance free.
